Independence at the core of our business
Independence has been a defining characteristic of Scafi since its foundation, shaping the Group’s decisions, relationships and long-term development. Chaired by Bruna Cafiero and led by her son, Paolo Visco, the Group combines the continuity of family ownership with the expertise of a young and motivated management team. Across the Group, each subsidiary is led by a local Executive Director with deep knowledge of the local market, ensuring responsiveness to the specific needs of customers and stakeholders.

Our People Make the Difference
Over the decades, Scafi has successfully led complex maritime projects, from the introduction of new technologies to the development of strategic port and terminal operations.- This experience includes Safi Atlantique in Morocco, the LNG Hrvatska terminal in Croatia and the port of Gioia Tauro in Italy.
Technical Manager
Every day brings new challenges: each project requires organization, attention to detail, and a strong team spirit. Working closely with tugboats and people makes this environment dynamic and engaging.
Working ashore and onboard
Scafi's team, composed of over 200 professionals, is divided between maritime and onshore personnel, with some hybrid roles bridging the gap between the dock and the office.
