Founded in La Spezia in 1972, Art Sub delivers marine construction, underwater engineering and maintenance services across ports, coastal areas and inland waterways. Combining certified underwater operators with a dedicated fleet and specialised equipment, the company supports infrastructure projects both onshore and offshore.
Art Sub became part of Scafi Group in 2024, when Scafi acquired a 50% stake in the company. In 2025 Art Sub further strengthened its operational capabilities through the acquisition of a majority stake in Barracuda Sub.
